Decompaction

decompactingCompacted soil is often the cause of poor soil conditions and the consequential inability for trees, shrubs and grass to grow to their full potential.

Compaction is often the result of construction activity and traffic and can detract from the attractiveness of a development to potential customers.

The negative effects of compacted soil can be alleviated or completely reversed by using air spades to decompact and aerate the soil while adding ameliorants such as appropriate biochar and ingredients containing effective and suitable, mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria to improve the condition of the soil and the soil food web.

Both soil structure and soil health can be improved increasing beneficial Mycorrhizal and Bacteria.  The Biochar will alter the soil, increasing the water holding capacity, stabilising the  relative moisture, increasing the absorption of nutrients and reducing   leeching. Plant productivity will be increased due to decreased acidity, increased composting and improved habitat for helpful soil micro-organisms.
